********************************************************************FAQ*****************************************************************************************************************

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Lies! This mod DOES hurt my fps, it causes stuttering and all sorts of FPS loss and lag.

A: No Lies! There is no FPS loss using the mod without optionals. Realistic Lighting 3.4 only uses the Creation Kit to make lighting, Fog, Weather and RGB Colour changes. Nothing
is added to the game to cause it to lose FPS.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: You claim it is Realistic? I see other mods that claim the same thing but to me they don't seem realistic at all?

A: Yes, our claims are actually true. A lot of research as gone into making the lighting look as realistic as possible. It may not always be appealing to those who want a fantasy
style looking game, or someone who loves vanilla art. This mod does what it says on the tin, it aims for realism and it allows you to customize it to however you like.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Why is it when I am fighting in fog, I can see very bright sword reflections?

A: I fondly call this "The Light Saber Bug" - Swords may be really bright in deep fog, this seems to be a Bethesda Shader Issue.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: What the hell, my sun dissapeared!

A: Dissapearing Sun - This is a bug with Patch 1.5 from Bethesda. Using console command ts (toggle sky) to turn off the sky and turn it back on fixes this issue temporarily.
Bethesda has announced a patch to fix this issue.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: My screen goes black when I use enchanted weapons!

A: This is a bug when in game brightness is lowered too much. This is a bug with the game engine not the mod. Please ensure your in game brightness levels don't go too low.
If you did not lower in game brightness, then please send sydney666 an in game message with the location and weather in which this occurred.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: My lights are flickering, dimming or shutting off as I approach them, what does this mean?

A: Lights shutting off or flickering. This is a bug with the game engine when 4 or more lights are casting shadows near eachother. Bethesda needs to fix this.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: BoSS says to load your mod high up the load order but you say to load it below all lighting and weather mods, why?

A: This is because most lighting and weather mods alter fog settings. If fog settings are altered with RL the lighting scheme is totally destroyed and fog is a big part of creating this effect.
Please read "Load order and You" bundled with this mod for more detailed info.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: OH MY GOD, the fog looks really ugly, its all pushed back and hurts my eyes.

A: This is a bug with Bethesda Patch 1.5 and shaders. It can also be caused by Ambient Occlusion. Disable both, and follow the steps above above load order and then see if it fixes it.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: I think your mod is too colourful, doesnt have enough colour, the skies are too blue, its too dark, its too bright, my bum fell off.

A: Luckily you can fix most of these opinon based issues with customization or by using any of the 23 plug and play patchers already created!

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Is this compatible with Dynavison and Imaginator?

A: Yes. They are brilliant mods that work nicely with Realistic Lighting

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Can I use my other weather mods, rain mods, or other texture mods?

A: Not if they alter fog.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: What do I do if I already have one of the mods listed in your optionals? Do I have to download that instead?

A: No it is the same mod and I will update the other mods into Realistic Lighting whenever I can. Alternatively you can install new versions over the top of the ones that you
installed with Realistic Lighting - it makes no difference.

***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Will you make another version of Realistic Lighting, like 3.5? Will you update Realistic Lighting?

A: I am not sure if I will make Realistic Lighting 3.5, it all depends on what the demand is - and if we can really improve on what we have done. We dont want to work on something
and potentially ruin a masterpiece. All art works come to and end and need time to be appreciated. This is no different. I will update the mod if there are bugs.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: So who made the new version of this mod, I am confused. Was it Plutoman?

A: Plutoman has been the spearhead of this project and while Sydney666 created the artistic work for 3.4, it wouldn't have been possible without Plutoman and all his support.
Everyone, that means even the mod's fans have contributed with their support and feedback. Please check the authors tab on the description and credits for more info.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Is this compatible with RCRN? Super ENB, ULTRA REALISTIC WORLD LIGHTING for Skryim and other lighting mods?

A: No, they all do the same thing but they all do things differently. One is great for cinematic, one aims for extreme realism, the other looks more fantastical. Depends on your taste
what you go for.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Is this compatible with other ENB profiles?

A: This mod CAN be used with ENB profiles, but they will more than likely need tweaking to work properly with this mod.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: I dont know how to edit the ini file!

A: Use the guides, thats how I learnt - and now I am making the mod. We all have our humble beginnings and a guide is a good place to start.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: There are some really strange patterns showing up around grass, it only happens when I look around. what happened?

A: Nothing to do with this mod, again this is a shader issue with Patch 1.5 from Bethesda.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: ZOMG! I saw a green rock, and a purple cloud! WTF!!!

A: Sydney666 is colourblind, if you spot an error with RGB/Colours please send him a message.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: Does Realistic Lighting 3.4 Change Interiors?

A: No, the interiors are the same from 3.31

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
Q: I see the sun, but its just a white disc, wht cant I see any god rays?

A: Make sure you only have 1 sunglare.dds file in your textures sky folder. If you have a sun.dds file in there, DELETE it. This bug may also happen changing from 1st person to 3rd.
This is a known issue with the vanilla game.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: What resolution are the textures packed with the game?

A: All textures vary from 1024 to 2048. Please check the websites of each mod to get more info.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: I CTD with this mod dammit.

A: This mod does not directly cause CTD but it seems the Official Patch from Bethesda is causing some issues with some types of mods. ENB mods are badly affected and all sorts mods of
mods are having some sort of issue. CTD can be random or when exiting the game. At this stage they seem to be all related to Patch 1.5 and not specific to mods themselves. Bethesda has
since announced a new patch will be released to fix these CTD issues.

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: How do I uninstall this mod?

A: If using NMM, just unselect the mod. If uninstalling manually, you can delete all the files you copied in the data folder. They are the ini file, java patcher + Patcher.esp & realistic lighting esp

****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Q: My patcher doesn't work...what now?

A: Please make sure you read the trouble shooting guide on the main mod page. Also ensure you have both 32 bit and 64 bit Java installed if you have a 64 bit operating system!
